traveled to Lowell to tour the lively, multi-faceted facilities at UTEC
. The program staff lead an exchange about working with proven-risk youth, developing effective culinary arts career pathways and harnessing the power of peer collaboration between organizations committed to best practices in youth workforce development. Knowing that we share a positive youth development philosophy and learning the story of UTEC's evolution over time energized the Future Chefs team and affirmed our commitment to being a high quality youth-serving organization and program. We agreed to share capacity building and staff development opportunities and to find ways for our youth to connect. #madlove to our UTEC counterparts and the youth of Lowell. Thank you for being terrific peer mentors and role models. Long Live UTEC!
