Tufts Health Plan Foundation: 2013 Annual Report
A two-page "Focus on Sustainability" spread in the Tufts Health Plan Foundation 2013 Annual Report highlighted the Foundation's experience as a Root Cause Social Innovation Forum track sponsor, as well as work performed by Root Cause for Foundation grantees including assessments of six grantees, and implementation of a data management and workflow system for one grantee, Springwell. The Nonprofit Coach Radio Show: Nonprofit Coach Celebrates MLK Jr. Day and Philanthropy (January 21)
In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, The Nonprofit Coach Radio Show dedicated its entire episode to highlighting the work of the Institute for Black Male Achievement (IBMA), a national membership network of 1,800 organizations and leaders dedicated to improving life outcomes for black men and boys. David Banks, a BMA Innovator who is president and CEO of the Eagle Academy Foundation, joined Shawn Dove of the Open Society Foundation’s Campaign for Black Male Achievement, and Root Cause Founder and CEO Andrew Wolk to discuss the challenges still facing black men and boys in the U.S., and what the IBMA is doing to strengthen the field of black male achievement.
