Areas of expertise include strategic business planning, scaling impact, building a sustainable business model, and measuring and demonstrating results.
Julie has over 15 years of experience as a consultant, a program director, and a clinical social worker. Why do you do what you do?
I joined Root Cause just as we were getting started in 2004 because I wanted to be more effective as a social worker and apply my interest and experience in building programs and organizations. Too often, the young people and families I met were facing challenges that were rooted in bigger institutional, community, and systemic issues. Many of the solutions are well documented, but poorly implemented. I want to find ways to better support dynamic leaders, improve organizations, and shift resources so that more young people can reach their full potential.
