Business Development Manager
As the Business Development Manager, Louisa serves as the primary support for sales and marketing at Root Cause. She works with senior consultants in determining how Root Cause can best support nonprofits, foundations, and government organizations in reaching their goals. She also manages Root Cause’s communications channels, including the website, blog, and social media. Louisa is passionate about helping our clients create impact in their communities and remains inspired by their passion, innovation, and determination in creating positive change.
Louisa joined Root Cause in 2014. She started her career coordinating the Youth Violence Prevention Funder Learning Collaborative, a network of over 50 public and private funders dedicated to aligning funding to decrease youth violence in Boston. In this role, she managed the Pathways to Health and Healing events, two yearly summits attracting over 150 funders, service providers and content experts to explore incorporating trauma-informed practices to their work.
Prior to Root Cause, Louisa worked as the Operations and Communications Associate for the Philadelphia Teaching Fellows and as an Information Risk Analyst at JPMorgan Chase.
